I remember the reason we became friends, I had a crush on Nidhi and I needed you to help me out. Well you were a total disaster at being my wing-woman! But through the course of chasing Nidhi, I found something way more precious, a friend(YOU). And for that I shall always be grateful to Nidhi. (yeah, I am not giving you any credit for that)
You know the earliest memories I have of you is you eyeballing me and giving me weirdly funny looks while I was sitting in your class trying to chat up with her. You played the part of a friend very well, even when we were merely acquaintances. And that is what truly built up your persona in my eyes.
People always ask me, why didn’t we date? I really don’t know how to explain to them that certain people are just way too special to risk via a relationship. And that’s a feeling that doesn’t even let you think of that person in any other sense except as a friend. (And plus I dumped you so… that’s another story: P)
By the way, I don’t know if I have told you this, but I respect you as a writer. I haven’t heard you as a musician or seen you as an actress, but I know you as an individual; I also know that you will not pursue any of these as your prime careers unless you get struck by luck and one of your artistic talents takes you to height without you actually trying. So my wish for you is that either you get struck by that luck or that you give your talent a chance to prove itself.
I know you are strong but you hide yourself from your weakness. I wish you embrace your weakness instead of lashing out on yourself and on your life, every time you shown a sign of its existence in you. Believe in yourself to have the ability to fight without the need of someone else, give it a shot.
I know I was supposed to write a birthday note for you, but I dearly felt that this is what I can offer better than anything else that I could have written.
